We had our first Summer Reading Meet-up yesterday and we shared the book Elephant Ears. This is a charming story of a mother elephant taking her children’s unique qualities into account when deciding where they should live.
We hand-printed these adorable momma and baby elephants that were the perfect tie-in for the moral of our story.
Want to make your own?
Step 1- Mix the Gray paint- we used white tempura with a splash of black acrylic and then painted it onto our hands with a brush.
Step 2- Make your handprints! (be sure that the trunks touch or come close!)
Step 3- Add the details- tusks, ears, grass… viola!
